Hailing from the Netherlands, DutchIndonesian chef Syrco Bakker is known for his inventive creations and strong principles. After helming Sergio Herman’s Pure C for 13 years – during which he was awarded with two Michelin stars – Syrco made the monumental decision to move to Indonesia and embark on a new journey with his own restaurant, Syrco BASÈ, in Ubud, Bali.

Dutch chef Syrco Bakker is making his UAE debut by taking over Farmhouse at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Wadi Desert. The chef has spent 13 years in fine-dining restaurants across the Netherlands, making a name for himself as head chef of Sergio Herman’s Pure C, which holds two Michelin stars.

The latest accolade won by Dutch-Indonesian chef Syrco Bakker is a testament to his world-class culinary expertise, adding to the list of Syrco BASÈ’s achievements this year.
