Syrco BASÈ Brings a Taste of Bali to Jakarta with an Exclusive Pop-Up at The Plaza
Syrco BASÈ has arrived in Jakarta with a limited three-week culinary pop-up in collaboration with Plaza Indonesia. Running from 16 February to 7 March 2026, the experience takes place at Altitude Grill Jakarta on the 46th floor of The Plaza, offering refined dining alongside panoramic city views.

Led by chef Syrco Bakker, the pop-up brings the restaurant’s Bali-based philosophy into an urban setting. The concept focuses on conscious dining, combining Indonesian ingredients with a modern Western approach. Guided by the principles of traceability, nature, and transparency, the menu highlights produce sourced through close relationships with local farmers, fishers, and artisans.
The menu presents a mix of signature dishes and new creations inspired by Indonesian landscapes and flavours. Highlights include Steak Tartare with rendang seasoning, Taro Rösti with duck betutu, spiny lobster preparations, and chocolate paired with soursop and avocado. Beverage pairings feature Indonesian spirits and artisanal producers, further celebrating local craftsmanship.

The pop-up is designed as a fully immersive experience, with the venue transformed to reflect the atmosphere of the restaurant’s Ubud home. Natural textures, curated music, and carefully designed details create a sensory journey throughout the evening.
The experience is available daily for dinner from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm, with lunch offered from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm upon request. Guests can choose from tasting menus at various price points, including a full experience package featuring food, beverage pairings, and after-dinner drinks.

Available for a limited time only, the pop-up offers guests the opportunity to explore Indonesian flavours through a contemporary culinary perspective in one of Jakarta’s most prestigious locations. Reservations can be made via the restaurant’s website or contact +62 8222 71 222 50.
